Frequently Asked Questions About the Training |
WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS TRAINING?Anyone who wants to know more about the topic of disability and work will find the training valuable. The intended audience is very broad, comprising people who work in the WorkForce Centers, government employees at all levels, and all employees and management in the non-profit and for-profit sectors. The program should be valuable to anyone who wants to learn about people with disabilities and how they want to be approached and treated. WHY DO I HAVE TO SIGN-IN FOR THE TRAINING?We ask you to sign-in for tracking purposes - so that you can leave the program and return later to the place you left off. Without a sign-in, that's impossible. We also ask you to sign in so we have an idea of how many people take the training. The only individual record we keep is a simple notation that you completed a given module. We keep certain minimal and anonymous group records of how people do in the training. CAN ANYONE SIGN UP FOR TRAINING?Yes, the training is available to anyone, at any time, day or night, anywhere in the world. All you need is a good internet connection. A broadband connection will work best. WHY SHOULD I REGISTER MY GROUP FOR THE TRAINING?If you register your group, the program will keep track of your group's progress for you. Because of privacy concerns, you won't be able to track how each person did on individual questions within a module, but you will be able to see who has finished each module. HOW LONG WILL THE TRAINING TAKE?It's impossible to say precisely how long the training will take because it is entirely individualized and self-paced. That means you can work as fast or as slow as you like, and you can start and stop as you wish. We estimate that an average time to complete the entire program might be four to five hours. WHAT IF I FORGET MY PASSWORD?If you are a member of a group, your group leader can remind you of your password. |
